The Role
The Technical Operations & Stock Coordinator owns the full life-cycle of our rental booths—from the moment they return to the warehouse until they ship out again. You will inspect, refurbish, and configure hardware and software, maintain accurate inventory, and coordinate global logistics to ensure every unit reaches its destination on time and in perfect working order.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive returned booths; unpack, clean, and perform detailed quality checks.
- Diagnose issues and carry out minor hardware repairs or component swaps (lighting, cameras, PCs, touchscreens).
- Load and test Sharingbox software builds, apply configuration profiles, and verify full system functionality.
- Apply skins or other graphics with precision, ensuring each unit meets client brand guidelines.
- Scan assets in and out of our inventory system, monitor stock levels, and initiate re-orders for consumables and spare parts.
- Prepare booths for shipment: kit accessories, create labels and customs paperwork, pack securely, and schedule couriers or on-site installers worldwide.
- Liaise with Sales and Project Management teams on deadlines and special requirements, and provide remote support to installers during event builds.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in AV rental, technical refurbishment, warehouse operations, or similar environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows-based systems and confidence in replacing PC or electronic components.
- Familiarity with inventory scanners, WMS or ERP software.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight event timelines.
- Capability to lift up to 25 kg and operate standard warehouse equipment safely.
Desired Extras
- Experience with live-event technology or photo-booth hardware.
- Forklift license.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator for artwork verification.
