Main Mission
The Head of Product is responsible for defining and executing the hardware product strategy across the group. This role leads innovation, oversees engineering and development, ensures regulatory compliance, and manages the full product lifecycle to create innovative experiential marketing technology. The Head of Product collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-performance, cost-effective, and differentiated products that meet market and customer needs. You'll oversee the complete product lifecycle from concept to market launch, manage the innovation teams, and ensure our hardware solutions meet international standards and regulatory requirements across global markets.
Responsibilities and Activities
1. Product Strategy & Innovation
- Define the product vision and roadmap aligned with company goals.
- Identify emerging technological opportunities and trends.
- Design innovative and differentiated hardware products.
- Integrate market insights and customer feedback into product development.
- Analyze competitors and position products strategically and technically.
2. Hardware Engineering & Development
- Supervise technical design, specifications, and architecture.
- Manage prototyping, testing, and iterative development cycles.
- Collaborate with industrial partners to optimize production processes.
- Ensure product reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
3. Compliance & Certification
- Manage product certifications (CE, FCC, UL, etc.) across 20+ countries.
- Ensure compliance with safety, EMC, and environmental standards.
- Maintain and update regulatory documentation.
4. Product Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the full lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
- Lead product launches and go-to-market strategies.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate production planning, products sourcing and inventory management.
- Address specific customer requirements and customizations.
5. Technical Operations
- Define engineering standards and development processes.
- Manage supplier and industrial partner relationships.
- Optimize manufacturing costs and timelines.
- Protect intellectual property and innovation assets.
- Provide technical support to field operations when needed.
6. Team Management & Collaboration
- Lead and Manage the Supply Chain and Quality Managers.
- Structure and grow the innovation team.
- Promote a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and industrial teams.
- Support the development and upskilling of technical talent.
Profile Required
Education:
Engineering or Technical Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
8–12 years product development experience with consumer electronics or similar hardware systems. Proven track record leading engineering teams and managing complex hardware projects.
Skills & Expertise:
- Strong electrical engineering background
- Knowledge of embedded systems, sensors, displays
- Experience with EMC, safety standards, and international compliance
- Familiarity with product testing, validation, and QA
- Strategic thinking and project management
- Budget control and cost optimization
- Industry knowledge in consumer electronics or interactive technologies
- Awareness of experiential marketing and event tech is a plus
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
