The Job:
As a Area Sales Manager, you play a vital role in driving the growth of DNP Imaging Photo Europe across all business units within Italian area. Supporting the Country Manager, you ensure seamless coordination between Distribution Photo Business, and Thermal Transfer Ribbon (TTR) divisions, maximizing market opportunities and delivering tailored solutions to our customers. You are always looking for the win-win in a business deal, ensuring optimal results for DNP. Your ability to manage diverse product ranges allows you to address the specific needs of various industries. You operate based on a structured account plan, ensuring business opportunities are effectively developed, while maintaining rigorous oversight of pricing strategies, sales forecasts, and performance metrics. All interactions are carefully documented within our CRM system, enabling smooth internal collaboration and strategic alignment.
Responsibilities and Activities:
• Drive profitable sales growth and achieve revenue and margin targets in the Italian market
• Define and execute annual sales plans, budgets, and action plans
• Manage and develop customer relationships through regular visits and structured follow-up
• Identify new business opportunities, including prospecting and cold calling
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial conditions in line with company strategy
• Coordinate closely with Customer Service and internal teams to ensure excellent customer experience
• Provide product presentations, demonstrations, and training to customers
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and customer data in the CRM system
• Report on performance and market insights on a monthly basis
• Contribute to product and customer strategy discussions at EMEA level

Required Personal Competences:
Education: Business School or equivalent, Master level preferred.
• Several years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in industrial, printing, consumables, or technical products
• Client-oriented mindset with a proactive approach. Client-focused mindset with proactive problem-solving approach. • Excellent communication skills, able to interact at all levels internally and externally
• Structured, organized, and results-oriented approach
• Comfortable managing a diverse product portfolio and technical solutions
• Willingness to travel within Italy and occasionally across the EMEA region
• Ability to develop business autonomously with a clear hunting mentality
• Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken) is mandatory
• Additional languages are a plus
